Synthos ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Account information: Your email address, used for authentication via magic link. We do not collect passwords.
Conversation data: Messages you exchange with the Synthos AI during onboarding and ongoing use. This includes descriptions of your IT environment, team structure, and technology stack.
Framework and task data: Your framework checklist selections, task items, gap analysis results, and M&A playbook progress.
Uploaded files: Any CSV or text files you upload during AI conversations are processed in memory and not stored permanently on our servers. The parsed content may be included in your conversation history.
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Synthos service. Specifically: to power your AI co-pilot conversations, to persist your framework progress and task lists, to generate personalized recommendations and gap analysis, and to send you authentication emails.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with other Synthos users.
Supabase: Hosts our database and authentication system. Your data is stored in Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security ensuring only you can access your own data.
Anthropic (Claude API): Powers the AI conversations. Your messages are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's data retention policies apply to API interactions.
Vercel: Hosts the Synthos application.
Resend: Sends transactional emails (magic links).
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is protected by row-level security policies, meaning each user can only access their own data. API endpoints are rate-limited and authenticated.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings section in your dashboard. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your conversations, framework data, tasks, gaps, and profile information.
You can also request deletion by emailing hello@synthos.io.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your data by contacting us. If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, additional data protection rights may apply under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
